  3. Zombies used to give me nightmares but now I rather enjoy them. Okay…sometimes they still give me nightmares. LOL. I’m fascinated by the human element of a zombie story. Like The Walking Dead, I want to know how people survive in a world where the dead walk. And what happens next.

  4. When I was a kid (probably seven or eight-ish at the time) my dad and I sat down one Hallow’s eve and watched Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead.” It scared me so much I thought there were zombies in my closet for months! Ironically enough, as an adult I absolutely love zombie films and literature. One of my closest friends and I are always discussing the latest “Walking Dead” episode, but like you pointed out what makes that show so interesting, as well as frightening, is the human component. How would people react, and what lengths would they go to in order to survive? Is it worth surviving? There are so many great questions and interesting aspects that are forced into the limelight with zombies as the catalyst.
